1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InterviewMochi ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

InterviewMochi provides AI-powered interview practice and feedback. The Service includes:

• Voice recording of interview answers and personal notes
• Browser-based transcription
• AI-generated feedback on your answers
• Progress tracking and performance analytics
• Question library for practice sessions

Note: We do not create content, clone voices, or generate podcasts. The Service is solely for interview practice and personal voice notes.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Pricing Tiers

We offer multiple subscription tiers with different usage limits. For current pricing and features, see our Pricing Page.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for future months after cancellation.

4.4 No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. We offer a free tier so you can test the Service before upgrading. Once you subscribe to a paid tier, you have access to the Service for the full billing period, and no refunds will be issued for partial months or unused time.

Exception: Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of technical errors or billing mistakes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account with others
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
• Upload malicious content or spam
• Abuse the Service to generate excessive costs
• Scrape or copy content without permission

6. Content Ownership

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of your voice recordings, transcripts, and answers. By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

• Process your recordings to generate transcripts and AI feedback
• Store your data to track your progress and performance
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service (no personally identifiable information)

We do NOT: Use your recordings to train public AI models, share them with third parties, or use them for any purpose other than providing you with feedback.

6.2 Our Content

All questions, feedback templates, and Service features are owned by InterviewMochi. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission.

6.3 Recruiter Visibility (Optional)

You may choose to make your profile visible to recruiters. This feature is optional and disabled by default. If you opt in:

• What recruiters see: Your anonymized interview readiness score, practice frequency, improvement trends, job role, and experience level
• What recruiters DON'T see: Your recordings, transcripts, name, email, or any personally identifiable information until you choose to respond
• Your control: You can disable this feature anytime, block specific recruiters, and choose which messages to respond to

We do not share your contact information with recruiters without your explicit consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• That you will get a job or pass an interview
• The accuracy of AI feedback
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the Service meets your specific needs

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERVIEWMOCHI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Lost profits, data, or opportunities
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid in the last 12 months

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the Service
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Upon termination, you lose access to your account and data. We may delete your data after 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Arbitration

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. You waive your right to a jury trial or class action.
